I understand these are difficult times for everyone, and even though the coronavirus Shelter in Place and Stay At Home restrictions have been financially devastating to my business and many others, I support them completely and have been properly abiding by the order ever since they were first put into effect. This meant in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, I stayed home, did not perform any photoshoots, and was not able to rent out the studio. This changed starting on June 19th where in-studio studio rentals were allowed to take place, and rentals resumed. This was great news, but sadly, it was short-lived. As cases spiked once again in the winter of 2020, a new Stay At Home order was implemented for the State, and in December of 2020, and I was once again prohibited from renting out the studio due to the Stay At Home order. I completely understand the need for this and I properly abided by this order.
(1/25/21 Update): Good news! As of January 25, 2021, the statewide Stay And Home order has been lifted, and studio rentals can resume provided certain guidelines are met. So this is great news for anyone looking to book rent the studio.
Yes, you can! As of January 25, 2021, as per the lifting of the statewide Stay At Home order, certain select indoor non-essential business activities like photoshoots are allowed, which means studio rentals can resume provided that the activity follows the city/county guidelines, and social-distancing is practiced (at least 6 feet or more where possible). Masks will be required for anyone entering the building and whenever in any common areas of the building. In my studio, the rental should have the fewest number of people possible to accomplish your photoshoot. Anyone not appearing in front of the camera just wear a mask at all times inside the studio. The health, safety, and well-being of everyone is first and foremost in my mind, and since Ringlight Studios is a small space, it’s crucial that masks be worn at all time for anyone not appearing on camera.
If you have any questions, just feel free to contact me. I want to make sure that everyone is safe, while still providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere during your photoshoot.
Clients entering the main building and common areas of my studio building will be required to wear a mask. This includes everyone entering who will be entering the building. Everyone. Clients/models will obviously not be required to wear a mask while shooting, but please be sure to everyone brings a mask as wears them upon entering the building and when using any common areas because it is required to enter the main entrance of the building. Social distancing also needs to be implemented which means keeping a distance of at least 6ft away from others at all times to keep everyone safe. Everyone not appearing on-camera must wear a mask during your rental.
Renters may not exceed a maximum of four (4) people allowed in the space at one time. No exceptions. Ringlight Studios is a fairly compact studio space. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s best to limit the number of people in the studio as much as possible. Thus, a maximum of four (4) people total will be allowed as part of your group. It’s best to have the fewest number of people as possible to allow for social distancing and to reduce any possible exposure, so groups are limited to four people or less. This doesn’t mean you can have additional people waiting in the halls or common areas of the building. Renters may not exceed a maximum of four (4) people allowed in the space at one time.
That part is easy. Simply go to the BOOK NOW page and submit a request for studio booking. Here you can select the day and time for your desired studio rental, along with any questions or extra services needed.
This is a global pandemic where events are changing rapidly, so I will do my best to keep this page updated with the latest information related to coronavirus restrictions, and government business policies which will no doubt be updated over time. As always, if you have any questions at all, please just let me know. I’ll be happy to answer any questions, and I sincerely look forward to hearing from you. Please stay safe, everyone. 🙂
Sincerely,
